FREELearn about your rights and responsibilities as tenants in British Columbia. This is a 1.5 hour online workshop suitable for students who are renting any type of accommodation, or looking to move out on their own.
TRAC (Tenant Resource and Advisory Centre) is a non-profit organization that provides free legal education, representation, and advocacy on residential tenancy matters. A leader in tenants’ rights, TRAC’s mission is to enhance legal protections for all tenants living in British Columbia.
TRAC provides a multitude of resources that Columbia College students have found helpful when searching for rooms or units in Vancouver. These resources include:

- Roomate agreements
Whether you’re already settled into a unit or planning to move in the future, we recommend that you browse the TRAC website and explore the resources provided.
