Scholar Path Program
Scholarship for Students Transitioning from Columbia College to a Baccalaureate program at a Canadian University
The Scholar Path Program provides financial assistance to students and alumni who have successfully graduated or are transferring from a program at Columbia College and have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to their chosen field of study.
The scholarship will be open to all students/alumni who have completed a minimum of 30 transfer credits at Columbia College and have been admitted into a Bachelor’s program at a Canadian University.
Applicants who are Canadian Citizens or who have obtained Permanent Residency in Canada are eligible to receive $10,000 towards their studies at a Canadian University. International students on a study permit are eligible to receive $30,000 towards their first year of studies at a Canadian University. A selection committee will award a limited number of scholarships each year dependent on the funding available.

NPower Canada

NPower Canada programs provide participants with free in-demand digital and professional skills training and connects them to new and rewarding career opportunities with some of Canada’s largest employers.
Through consultation with a wide range of employers, NPower Canada’s comprehensive curriculum ensures participants are equipped with the in-demand technical and professional skills most sought after by industry. NPower Canada provides employers with access to a pipeline of eager, diverse and job-ready young talent with in-demand digital skills who are primed to succeed in the workplace.
Graduates receive ongoing support and coaching to ensure continued success in their careers.
NPower Canada offers 3 programs in BC:
1. Junior IT Analyst program (Beginner program)
2. Junior Data Analyst program (Intermediate program)
3. Google UX Design program (Beginner program)
ADaPT for BC Newcomers
ADaPT is a skills development and work placement program. The ADaPT for BC Newcomers program is designed to support newcomers in British Columbia (BC) in successfully navigating the changing Canadian labour market. The program provides training in digital and professional skills to newcomers in BC, helping improve their employment readiness and connect them to employers for paid work placements. Wraparound supports are a key part of the program: participants can access one-to-one career coaching, mock interview preparation, resume review and support, and networking opportunities. There is no cost to participate in this program.
The program offers two ways for participants to engage in training: by joining live sessions to learn together in real-time and by working at their own pace through online modules. The live training option will offer 11 sessions over seven weeks, with over 15 hours of additional
online learning. Service location reach: British Columbia, including outside of the Metro Vancouver area.
