Black History Month Event

To celebrate and acknowledge Black History Month, Yasin Misago, the Founder and Executive Director of African Descent Society BC, will be coming in to Columbia College to speak about African Descent History in Vancouver and British Columbia. Come to Room 550/560 to learn about Black History starting from our very neighbourhood. Take part in this month by following the Society’s slogan, “Going Forward Guided by the Past”! Following the presentation, there will be a discussion about Black historical figures/leaders that inspire you. What does it mean for you??
