OA – FlyOver Canada

Welcome to Columbia College, and welcome to Canada! As our first orientation activity, we are going to Canada Place for FlyOver Canada.
FlyOver Canada is a type of virtual ride, that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while the film whisks you away on an exhilarating ride across Canada, from east to west. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combined with the ride’s motion, will create an unforgettable experience for you. Can’t wait for the bird’s eye view of Canada? Come join us!
If you are a new student to Columbia College and are taking part in our Orientation program, this activity will be FREE. Please come to Student Services (Room 211) on the second floor of the Main Campus to sign up. There are limited spots so come quick!
Date and time: Friday, January 3, 3:30pm SHARP~5:00pm
Meeting location: First floor lobby of the Main Campus (We will meet here and travel together to Waterfront Skytrain Station. Look for Zerlinda!)
Sign-up deadline: ASAP! Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
