WA – Group Volunteer Opportunity at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank
March 7, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm PST
Have you ever wanted to participate in a meaningful volunteer activity along with your friends? Our group volunteer opportunity will be a great chance for you to sign up with your friends so you can do it together! As our weekend activity, we will be heading to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) for a food sorting session. Food sorting is an important behind the scenes role that helps us ensure the food that our clients receive is safe and organized, ready to go out to our Community Food Hub sites.
During the session, the GVFB will provide an orientation to the work they do. To learn more about the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, click here to find out more about their recent news and fight to end hunger.
