Bursaries
As a non-profit institution, Columbia College is committed to supporting students through various charitable initiatives. Our bursaries provide crucial financial aid for students facing economic challenges.
Each semester a bursary of $1700 is awarded to an outstanding ELC student moving from English 097 to English 098; this bursary takes the form of a tuition credit for the following semester. This bursary is awarded in memory of Jill Orenstein, a long-serving and very active member of Columbia College’s English Language Centre.
